Today is the day. According to Hal Higdon you should start training for the Cleveland Half Marathon today. Well, I should have started to train last week but a back strain kept me out of it. Today is something nice and easy, "Strech and Strengthen". Not too hard to start out with. I like the Hal Higdon plan because it is a very flexible plan because not only am I a grad student but I have a full time job. I just wanted to drop a short line today, tomorrow holds a three mile run. Enjoy the day because every day is a great day. In the words of Bart Yasso, "Never limit where running can take you."

Welcome
Welcome to my brand new blog. I am starting this blog for a class assignment, but I have always wanted to have one so this was a good excuse. Let me give you a little information about myself. I am a student at Kent State University and I am working on my Masters in Library and Information Science. I also love to run. In the past two years I have run four half marathons and I have three more scheduled this year. I debated what I wanted to blog about and it came down to two things: running and soccer. I picked running because it is a way of life, not that soccer is not, but running is something that everyone can do. This blog will cover a few things: my own personal running log, advice, rants, and various things to come.
